About Colain

Colain is a young and vibrant, family run business, founded by our Managing Director, Mathew Lamont.

Mathew graduated with a BEng in Civil Engineering, however his career lead him into Construction and Project Management and is a Member of the Association for Project Management (APM). He has worked on and managed a wide variety of successful projects both in the UK and in the United Arab Emirates, ranging from residential housing and small scale refurbishments to multi-million pound, mixed-use projects in the Middle East.  

As a developer, Colain aim to provide quality homes, with the first developments located iin South West Scotland. We are always on the look out for a viable development opportunity, whether this is as sole developer of in a joint venture with a land owner.
