Mathew is the Founder and Managing Director of COLAIN. He holds a degree in Civil Engineering with European Studies from the University of Strathclyde and brings 27 years of industry experience across the UAE, KSA, Oman, Qatar, and the UK. He is a Chartered Engineer (MICE), Chartered Construction Manager (MCIOB), and Member of the Association for Project Management (MAPM).
Mathew's career spans senior roles with Bovis Lend Lease, AECOM, and Turner & Townsend, operating across client, engineer, PMC, and contractor disciplines. His sector experience encompasses luxury hospitality, high-end residential, commercial, infrastructure, retail, and industrial projects, with direct leadership of programmes exceeding AED 500 million in value.
At COLAIN, Mathew provides strategic direction and senior technical oversight across all commissions. As an employee-owned business, COLAIN's people hold a direct stake in the outcomes they deliver — a model that underpins the firm's commitment to accountability, quality, and long-term client relationships.

Stuart is the Co-Founder and Director of Colain. Holding a BSc in Construction Management, he brings experience across both the contracting and consultancy sides of the industry. Having delivered numerous ultra-luxury residential projects, retail, hospitality, refurbishments and award-winning F&B venues across the UAE, KSA and South Africa, he understands not only how a project is built on the ground, but how it must be controlled and protected on the client's behalf. That dual perspective lets him anticipate problems before they arise and hold every project to the exceptional standard of detail and finish that work of this caliber demands.
Alongside the Senior Leadership Team, Stuart leads and develops Colain's team, setting clear expectations and supporting them to deliver consistently high-quality work. He serves as a trusted point of contact for clients, nurturing the long-term relationships on which the practice's reputation is built. Known for a proactive, hands-on approach and a talent for solving problems before they reach the client, he brings a practical, delivery-focused mindset — combining an uncompromising standard of quality with the commercial oversight and everyday leadership that drives the business in it's strategic plans.
At Colain, Stuart leads the operational and commercial elements of the business, from resourcing and costs through to cashflow and forecasting. This ensures projects are sufficiently resourced, delivered to the highest standards, and clients are served by a business built on a structured foundation.

As the Ras Al Khaimah Branch Director at Colain, Victoria leads diverse teams across a diverse range of projects, focusing on operational efficiency, risk mitigation, and seamless execution. Her leadership in asset management, strategic planning, and stakeholder relations has been instrumental in delivering high-value projects, both in the oil and gas sector and now in construction.

Daniall is a Chartered Construction Manager (MCIOB) with a First-Class Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Strathclyde. With 12 years of experience across various sectors, he has played a pivotal role in iconic London projects such as One Park Drive Tower and the Museum of London. Daniall is skilled in managing both large and small-scale projects and has collaborated with renowned architects like Herzog & de Meuron and Zaha Hadid.
His career includes working with design practices in central London and international main contractors such as Laing O’Rourke, as well as leading developers like the Berkeley Group. In the Middle East, Daniall has contributed to numerous residential, commercial, and F&B projects in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. His technical expertise and leadership have consistently transformed challenging sites into premium, welcoming spaces that surpass client expectations.

Delivering various high end F&B projects to date, his solution-minded approach assists project stakeholders to overcome unavoidable challenges.

He is a Chartered Construction Manager (MCIOB), Chartered Member of the Insitute of Logistics and Transport and Construction NEBOSH Certified. Les has worked with several high-profile international firms in roles including client, PMC and Contractor and managed design and construction teams across a variety of large-scale projects in the UK, Russia, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the UAE He will provide strategic oversight and support to the project team on RD Robotics project given his previous experience of UAE projects.
